Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Heavy Maintenance Compliance & Standards Engineer. This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years. Based in our Engineering building in Dublin and working in our Heavy Maintenance function, this is an excellent opportunity for an aviation professional to gain experience in Europe’s leading airline, working closely with Senior Management responsible for maintenance of over 600 aircraft. In this role, you will be part of the Heavy Maintenance Management team, responsible for ensuring that Ryanair maintains its industry leading safety standards across a broad range of contracted heavy maintenance providers.
Job Responsibility:
Carrying out independent reviews of technical standards of work accomplishment at contracted MRO organisations
Identifying opportunities for improvements both within the supplier processes and procedures and within the Ryanair interface agreement and other documentation
Identifying industry ‘best practice’ across the range of suppliers and driving continuous improvement across all Ryanair contracted heavy maintenance organisations
Managing customer audit findings and working with suppliers to ensure robust investigations, corrective and preventative actions are implemented and effective
Investigating safety reports, maintenance errors and potential errors as part of our SMS
Identifying trends in reports and taking appropriate action as required
Requirements:
Will have worked as a senior mechanic or certifying staff in an airline engineering and/or aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation
Will have heavy/base maintenance experience with Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft types
Will have a solid working knowledge of EASA Part CAMO and Part 145 regulations
Will have completed a degree in an engineering subject or hold an EASA or UK Part 66 AML or equivalent technical experience
