Total number of employees - more than 1000 people. We are offering you to join our team as an HL/OOG Specialist (Project Logistics Department) in our branch in Houston!

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement tailored technical solutions for complex project logistics, including route surveys, lifting plans, and cargo securing strategies
  • Provide expertise in engineering solutions for HL/OOG cargo, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with key sub-contractors and service providers for project execution
  • Negotiate terms, manage performance, and ensure alignment with project requirements
  • Evaluate and select the most suitable routes and modes of transport (road, rail, sea, or air) based on cargo specifications, cost-efficiency, and safety considerations
  • Perform route surveys to assess any potential obstacles or limitations and ensure safe passage of cargo
  • Utilize specialized logistics and project management software to plan, track, and optimize cargo movements
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, project documentation, and communication logs
  • Lead sales efforts, including prospecting, client engagement, and contract negotiations, to drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor for technical and logistical challenges
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business by delivering exceptional service and value-added solutions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in OOG or heavy-lift logistics, preferably within an international context
  • Engineering background or strong project management experience (managing full lifecycle of a project)
  • Proficiency in specialized transport equipment and heavy machinery for oversized cargo
  • Experience of working with multinational teams and managing complex logistics projects
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Preference to the candidates with own Customer portfolio
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
