Our client in the automotive industry is looking for long-term GENERAL LABOURERS to join their team! Please note this role is fast pace, heavy lifting, in automotive environment! Position type: temporary to permanent potential. Job(s) available: Heavy General Labour, Production Worker. Location: 1820 Bonhill Road. Mississauga, ON. Pay rate: starting at $17.60 per hour. Please note this is an automotive environment, it can be nitty gritty, with paint finishing happening in the plant, it can be warm/hot at times too!

Job Responsibility:

  • Working in a production facilities following standard operating procedures
  • Safe working on coating products in a manufacturing facility
  • Continual walking/standing/bending
  • Load and unload small car parts from metal bins
  • Stack parts on racking preparing for next step in production process
  • Transport parts (small to medium) to production line
  • Work on production line as required

Requirements:

  • Must have CSA-approved safety shoes/steel-toed boots
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ideally, some experience in automotive manufacturing or related manufacturing
  • Able to lift up to 30lbs repetitively
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • comfortable bending and lifting as working with racking various height
  • good and reliable attendance
  • own safety steel toe shoes
  • can work Monday to Friday afternoons

Nice to have:

some experience in automotive manufacturing or related manufacturing
