Job Description

You will make electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on equipment such as excavators, loaders and more. Applicants should have extensive experience with diesel heavy equipment repair.

Job Responsibility

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems for all types of construction equipment
  • Ability to assess all equipment to determine cause of issue or failures
  • Knowledge of DOT truck and trailer inspections
  • Other duties assigned by management

Requirements

  • Willing to join International Union of Operating Engineers Local 77
  • High School education or equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ experience preferred
  • Have your own transportation (no public transportation available)
  • Great people and communication skills
  • Organized
  • Available to work overtime as needed on short notice
  • Have own hand tools
  • Able to work outdoors in all types of weather and uneven surfaces
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Welding certifications preferred
  • Willingness to learn additional responsibilities
