Job Description:

Modern Machinery is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Heavy Equipment Sales Coordinator in Billings, MT. This position is responsible for the daily activity of tracking equipment. Minimal travel may be required for inventory and training purposes. The individual in this position should be extremely detail oriented, organized, personable, highly motivated, reliable, ethical, and able to adapt to all the forces around them, customers, suppliers, co-workers and other company employees from other branches.

Job Responsibility:

  • Demonstrate Modern Machinery’s core values and promote the mission and vision of the company
  • Follow all company policies, processes, procedures. Exercise safe work practices to contribute to the achievement of the company’s safety goals
  • Coordinates the sales and rental activities for the Billings branch
  • Coordinate branch and customer freight activities
  • Equipment inventory management
  • Equipment transfers and acquisitions of attachments
  • Maintains all equipment records and filing
  • Large volume of phone calls
  • Assist floor plan auditors with inventory reports
  • Responsible for updating weekly equipment billing reports
  • Maintain rental equipment condition, availability in coordination with the Service department
  • Climbing on and off heavy equipment that may be six feet off the ground
  • Crawling around heavy equipment while working in all types of weather

Requirements:

  • Ability to assume responsibility and communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Ability to perform other related duties as assigned
  • Applicant must possess strong organizational skills and be detail oriented
  • Lifting requirement of 50 pounds
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Participation in a team environment
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
