Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Operating a range of Heavy Equipment to handle & maneuver customer freight
  • Loading and unloading freight from/to Train, Truck or Ground
  • Yard movements via Terminal tractor and trailer
  • Ensuring proper placement & stability in a safe and efficient manner
  • Safety Compliance - Following workplace safety protocols & procedures
  • Documentation & Record Keeping - Maintaining accurate records of container movements, equipment inspections and other relevant information via manual manifest or via digital resources, fitted to heavy equipment
  • Equipment Maintenance - Perform pre-operational checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Reporting anything not functioning as normal to Operations leader
  • Collaboration & communication - Working effectively with leadership & other team members to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements:

  • 5 years of bulk logistics industry experience desired
  • HRWL - RS(TLILIC0011) & CB(TLILIC0016)
  • Drivers Licence - HC (Heavy Combination) desirable

Nice to have:

  • Mechanically inclined with a proactive approach to maintenance
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills
  • Desire to take ownership of the role & progress
  • 5 years of bulk logistics industry experience desired
