Heavy Diesel Mechanic

• Ensure that works being performed is done in a safe manner, and in line with company OH&S standards
• Inspect, service, maintain and repair mobile plant for which you are trained and authorised for, within manufacturer’s specifications, limitations and in accordance with site procedures and instructions
• Work collectively as part of the HME team to ensure safe, efficient and prompt inspections, servicing, maintenance and repair of equipment, adhere to schedules and plans, and actively participate in achievement of targets
• Attend work during rostered periods and comply with PLS Fitness for Work policies
• Communicate with the Mobile Maintenance Workshop Supervisor on day-to-day activities.

• Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification
• High Risk Work Licences (desirable)
• Current and Valid Driver's Licence
• Minimum 2 years post trade mine site exposure and experience in completing maintenance across a variety of MEM equipment (CAT, Epiroc)
• Strong commitment to Safety Culture
• Ability to work as a part of a team
• Strong knowledge and experience of Workshop standards, processes and techniques
• Proven strong collaborative and liaison skills, with a good understanding of operations and equipment usage.
