Job Description:

A new post is available in the Wiltshire Cardiac Centre for a senior trainee in cardiology looking to widen their experience in complex pacing, interventional cardiac resynchronisation therapy and physiological pacing.

Job Responsibility:

Undertake pacing catheter laboratory sessions including patients requiring physiological pacing
Help recruit potential participants for clinical trials
Support the HF nurses seeing inpatient referrals
Review new and follow up patients in the outpatients
Participate in daily CCU ward rounds
Participate in quality improvement and in clinical research

Requirements:

MRCP (UK)
CCT in Cardiology (or within 6 months of application) with subspeciality in device therapy
Experience with complex pacing

Nice to have:

Certificate of good clinical practice in research
Experience in conducting clinical trials
Experience in echocardiography
Experience in cardiac magnetic resonance
Experience with physiological pacing
