Job Description:

Orchestrating a seamless operation of Fitness to Practise (FtP) hearings and meetings. Uphold our vital duty to protect the public and champion excellence in customer service, ensuring that every event concludes promptly and within budget.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead your team with finesse, ensuring that every adjudication event adheres to NMC values, policies, and quality standards while navigating high-profile and varied challenges with confidence
  • Deliver up to 15 physical hearings, and 20 virtual hearings per day, using your event and people management skills to ensure safe and effective regulation for our registrants
  • Own your own caseload of Fitness to Practice substantive hearings and apply a robust threshold framework to ensure hearing readiness and resource efficiencies
  • Implement your negotiation and influencing skills to address escalations and practical issues swiftly, utilising your keen eye for detail and numerical analysis to find practical solutions
  • Working collaboratively, you will forge strong relationships both within and outside the department, collaborating on long-term projects that continuously elevate the quality of our adjudication events
  • Motivate and engage your team with your infectious can-do attitude, providing ongoing support, guidance, and policy-led management to ensure operational excellence and staff empowerment
