We are looking for a skilled legal specialist to serve as a Hearing Officer in Alexandria, Virginia. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone with a Juris Doctor and prior experience conducting hearings, evaluating case information, and supporting fair, well-reasoned outcomes. Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree required
  • Prior experience serving as a Hearing Officer is required
  • Active law license is not required for this position
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze testimony, documentation, and case details with accuracy
  • Strong written communication skills with experience drafting findings or decisions
  • Ability to apply legal and procedural standards in an impartial and consistent manner
