Job Description:

Join the team at Gregory House in Workington as a Healthcare Support Worker. You will work in a Learning Disability and Autism service, providing care and support to 22 adults who have a Learning Disability and/or Mental Health needs. The service has an enhanced level of support to allow people with continuing challenging behaviour and high support needs to be cared for in the least restrictive setting possible.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions
  • Help people along their recover pathway
  • Ward rounds
  • Analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues
  • Updating patient records
  • Providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene

Requirements:

  • Naturally caring experienced Healthcare Support Worker in the UK
  • Positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance
  • Driver or live locally to Workington (due to limited public transport)
