Job Responsibility

  • Manage projects in occupied healthcare facilities, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care and ongoing operations
  • Oversee project scheduling, production, quality, and safety with a strong emphasis on infection control and compliance
  • Coordinate and lead subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Conduct daily huddles and lead weekly coordination meetings with trades
  • Collaborate closely and communicate effectively with owners, hospital staff, designers, and engineers
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, codes, and accreditation requirements
  • Develop and update the project schedule and prepare three-week schedules

Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10years of construction experience, with significant healthcare project experience required
  • Proven experience with: Hospital renovations and expansions
  • Work in occupied/active healthcare environments
  • Infection control and containment practices
  • Strong knowledge of: Healthcare codes and compliance requirements
  • Phasing and logistics in sensitive environments
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
