Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Strategy Associate to support strategic initiatives and analytical efforts within a healthcare managed care environment. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical skills with an interest in healthcare policy and strategy. This position offers visibility with leadership, with regular exposure through presentations, strategic analyses, and cross-functional project work. The Associate will play a key role in informing decision-making and driving priority initiatives across the organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses using Excel to support business and strategic decisions
  • Manage and track projects end-to-end, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination
  • Assist in developing and executing strategic initiatives across the organization
  • Perform research and synthesize insights on healthcare policy, regulations, and industry trends
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Provider, and technical teams
  • Assist with preparing presentations using PowerPoint

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in consulting, healthcare, managed care, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., modeling, data analysis, pivot tables)
  • Familiarity with healthcare managed care concepts
  • Experience conducting structured research and synthesizing findings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to facilitate resolution to issues

Nice to have

  • Medicare and/or Medicaid managed care experience
  • Masters Degree (i.e MHA, MPH, MBA, etc.)
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
