Job Description:

You’ll deliver first class care to those in the community who might otherwise never visit a Boots store. You’ll be part of a unique service that prioritises the patient behind the parcel; this really is a role that offers so much more than other delivery roles.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver and collect medicines from Care Homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and other Boots stores within an allocated route time
  • Build great relationships with store teams, care homes and GP surgeries
  • Follow standards, operating policies and health and safety procedures
  • Drive safely and legally
  • Keep vehicle maintained and clean, reporting any damage or issues
  • Feedback relevant customer comments and concerns and make suggestions on how the operation can be improved
  • Be a proud ambassador for Boots Healthcare Logistics

Requirements:

  • Full, valid UK drivers license
  • Minimum of 1 year driving experience
  • Ability to read and interpret delivery routes and instructions
  • Ability to work at pace to achieve service levels and targets
  • Physical stamina for manually demanding role with heavy lifting
  • Comfortable using new technology
  • Calm in the face of unexpected changes
  • Comfortable in new situations and meeting new people
  • Genuine desire to help people

Nice to have:

  • Basic numeracy skills
  • Experience in a driving role
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
