Job Description:

We are seeking a Healthcare Litigation Associate to join our collaborative and growth-focused team in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on representing long-term healthcare providers and defending claims related to medical malpractice and liability. The position offers trial exposure, opportunities for independent case management, and leadership responsibilities within a supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

Represent long-term healthcare providers in litigation matters, including medical malpractice and liability cases
Conduct thorough legal research and develop compelling arguments for complex healthcare litigation
Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents to support case strategy and objectives
Oversee discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories, ensuring compliance with legal standards
Collaborate with team members to strategize case management and provide mentorship to entry-level associates
Participate in trials and hearings, presenting cases effectively in court
Manage multiple cases independently while contributing to team development and leadership activities
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and representation
Stay informed on legal trends and updates in healthcare litigation to provide innovative solutions
Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for growth and client engagement

Requirements:

Active Pennsylvania law license is required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare litigation, medical malpractice, personal injury, or general liability
Proven ability to manage cases independently and handle challenging legal matters
Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience supervising others
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and client interaction

Nice to have:

Business development experience or the ability to identify growth opportunities is preferred
Additional licenses in neighboring states are a plus
