We are looking for a skilled Healthcare Law Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing expert legal counsel on healthcare-related matters, including Medicare and Medicaid regulations, compliance standards, and employee benefits. The role offers flexibility with part-time scheduling options up to 30 hours per week.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide legal guidance on Medicare, Medicaid, and compliance regulations within the healthcare sector
  • Draft and review motions, briefs, and other legal documents related to healthcare law
  • Conduct thorough discovery processes to support litigation efforts
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards, including applicable healthcare laws
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address employee benefits and ERISA-related matters
  • Utilize Epic Hospital Billing systems and other relevant healthcare applications to manage legal workflows
  • Offer counsel on civil litigation matters related to healthcare services
  • Maintain and update legal documentation using Microsoft 365 tools
  • Support internal teams in achieving regulatory compliance for healthcare operations

Requirements:

  • Active Pennsylvania Bar membership
  • Proven experience in civil litigation and healthcare law
  • Strong proficiency in Epic EMR and Epic Hospital Billing systems
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and ERISA regulations
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
  • Ability to draft, review, and revise legal documents with precision
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to adapt to healthcare-related software
  • Strong understanding of compliance standards within the healthcare industry
