Job Description
The Referral Liaison represents Aveanna in the community as the point of contact and facilitator for referrals received through electronic referral systems. The Referral Liaison is responsible for monitoring the electronic referral systems for their assigned locations and accepting or declining referrals based on guidance provided by location or area leadership. The Referral Liaison will also utilize inside sales tactics to develop connections with discharge planners in order to drive additional referrals.
Job Responsibility
Monitor electronic referral systems for assigned locations and accept or decline referrals based on guidance
Utilize inside sales tactics to develop connections with discharge planners to drive additional referrals
Ensure setup and configuration of electronic referral systems are optimized
Work with location leadership and outside sales teams to manage referral flow
Notify location, outside sales, and intake personnel of new referrals
Gather and send referral information to intake team
Obtain and document contact information on discharge planners for inside sales
Use sales tactics such as lead generation, relationship development, personalized messages, outreach campaigns, and social selling via platforms like LinkedIn
Update customer data in CRM
Ensure communications meet customer service requirements
Develop strategic plans for growth
Participate in sales blitz campaigns and occasional in-person sales calls
Inform leadership of barriers to accepting referrals
Participate in on-call rotation
Meet or exceed monthly qualified admission targets
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Two (2) or more years of inside sales or online customer service experience
If working remotely, must have a mobile phone, reliable high speed internet, and sufficient workspace for multiple monitors
Willingness to participate in after hours and weekend on-call rotations
Residency in a state where Aveanna currently operates
Nice to have
High paced online inside sales or customer service experience highly preferred
