Job Description:

As a Healthcare Encounter Senior Analyst for claim reconciliation in the State Medicaid Encounters department, you will work exclusively with Pharmacy generated Medicaid encounters. You will be responsible for researching, analyzing and correcting previously submitted, rejected, Medicaid encounters. This research includes examining setups/configurations as well as comparing text files and their contents to identify trends or issues with the integrity of the data within those files.

Job Responsibility:

Researching, analyzing and correcting previously submitted, rejected, Medicaid encounters
Examining setups/configurations and comparing text files to identify trends or issues with data integrity
Serving a select group of clients
Maintaining and developing relationships with key client parties
Providing recurring metric reports to clients
Leading conference calls and communicating technical information to non-technical people

Requirements:

Must be willing to work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm AZ time
1 or more years of professional work experience in a healthcare finance setting
2 or more years of experience using Excel in a professional or academic setting (must know how to do formulas and VLOOKUPS)
Bachelor's degree, or high school diploma and equivalent work experience plus one additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained

Nice to have:

2 or more years of professional work experience in a healthcare finance setting
4 or more years of experience using Excel in a professional or academic setting
Experience with Medicaid
Experience working with SAS or SQL
