The company specializes in acquiring, investing in, and commercializing biomedical data assets, which are then sold to the pharmaceutical industry to support drug development. Job Responsibility:

  • Manage transactional data assets and assist with corporate transactions
  • Draft and review contracts related to healthcare and biomedical data
  • Prepare incorporation and formation documents, including tax-related filings
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA, Common Rule, and privacy laws
  • Handle confidential records and sensitive business information with discretion

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a healthcare paralegal
  • Strong experience in data transactions
  • Compliance expertise in HIPAA, Common Rule, and general privacy/regulatory matters
  • Corporate law experience, including setting up LLCs and new companies
  • Strong contract drafting, transactional law, and corporate governance skills
  • Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent relevant work experience)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment
