Aquent is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Healthcare Content Writer to join the communications and marketing team for a premier national healthcare client. Operating in a fully remote capacity, this consultant will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing high-quality content that effectively communicates with patients, providers, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in copywriting, digital content creation, or instructional design, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex healthcare concepts into clear, engaging, and compliant messaging.
Job Responsibility
Content Creation & Editing: Draft, write, and edit clear, compelling, and accurate digital and print content (e.g., newsletters, informational articles, web copy, emails, or job aids) tailored to diverse healthcare audiences
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with subject matter experts, marketing managers, and compliance teams to ensure all content aligns with brand voice, organizational standards, and industry guidelines
Project Management: Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously, tracking content pieces from initial concept through reviews, revisions, and final publication to meet tight deadlines
Quality Assurance: Review and proofread materials for tone, style, clarity, grammar, and alignment with healthcare regulations, maintaining an impeccable attention to detail
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related work-related discipline
Professional content writing or editing experience, ideally within a corporate, agency, or healthcare-related environment
Must be able to work a standard Monday through Friday shift and align with East Coast (EST) or Central (CST) business hours
Strong Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a mastery of English grammar and style
Healthcare Literacy: Ability to learn and speak to healthcare topics fluently, turning complex regulatory or clinical concepts into simple, easily digestible information for a consumer audience
Organization & Time Management: Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize competing project deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable utilizing content management systems (CMS), digital collaboration workspaces (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams), and project tracking software
