We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCA’s, and administrative staff.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting Radiographers during patients scans
  • Assisting patients and chaperoning when necessary
  • Making telephone bookings for patients
  • Assisting in patient preparation
  • Chaperoning
  • Cannulation
  • Positioning of patients on the scanner
  • Clinical stock management
  • Clinical audits
  • Processing of patients via E-Systems

Requirements:

  • Experience working in healthcare environment dealing with patients
  • Experience working in clinical settings or the healthcare environment
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good IT and administration skills
  • Ability to understand and comply with radiation protection protocols
  • Excellent patient care skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible
  • Organized
  • Enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines and turn-around times
