Job Description:

TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) have partnered with a leading organisation to hire Healthcare Assistants based in Cartron Sligo for a role based across 3 houses situated very close together. Candidates must be available on a consistent basis for agency work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide personal care to service users, including feeding, washing, and dressing
  • Report any notable activities or incidents to the person in charge
  • Provide emotional support to service users
  • Assist service users with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being
  • all very independent residents, going out of the house a lot for activities, going to concerts, holidays etc
  • ID service ages ranging from 20s -73
  • Long week shifts consist of Mon, Tues, Fri , Sat & Sun 08:00-20:30
  • Short week is Wed, Thurs 08:00-20:30
  • Night shifts are 20:15-08:15

Requirements:

  • QQI Level 5 Qualification in Healthcare Support or an equivalent qualification or current employment as a Healthcare Assistant/Carer (6 months minimum, proof of employment required)
  • All vaccinations: Hepatitis B and Titre Level, MMR, Tuberculosis & Varicella
  • Resident in Ireland and right to work in Ireland without restriction
  • 2 vehicles on site so would need to drive with full license
  • ID experience is not essential, but more so a get up and go attitude to getting involved in the resident’s busy lifestyle
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy towards others
  • Willing to undergo Garda Vetting
  • Candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16 will also need to hold International Police Clearance from that country(ies)
