Job Description:

Join the team at Ballington House in Leek as a Support Worker to make a positive difference to the lives of others. You will work as part of a supportive and friendly team in a culture built on kindness and teamwork, providing care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions, helping them along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life. The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends, 37.5 hours per week.

Job Responsibility:

Talking and interacting with service users
Supporting, encouraging, and motivating service users with all aspects of their recovery and treatment goals
Supporting with daily living tasks and community involvement
Carrying out duties allocated by the MDT
Updating patient records
Responding to incidents
Supporting mealtimes
Ensuring a clean and safe environment

Requirements:

Naturally caring experienced Support Worker in the UK
Positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance
Understanding of individual responsibility to promote and safeguard the welfare of service users
