Job Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Alliance Medical team based at our London Marylebone site. You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCA’s, and administrative staff. We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to work 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting Radiographers during patient scans
Assisting patients and chaperoning when necessary
Making telephone bookings for patients
Assisting in patient preparation
Cannulation
Positioning of patients on the scanner
Clinical stock management
Clinical audits
Processing of patients via E-Systems

Requirements:

Experience working in a healthcare environment dealing with patients
Experience working in clinical settings or the healthcare environment
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Good IT and administration skills
Ability to understand and comply with radiation protection protocols
Excellent patient care skills
Attention to detail
Flexible
Organized
Enthusiastic attitude
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and under pressure, meeting deadlines and turn-around times
