Job Description:

This position is for nights.

Job Responsibility:

Serving meals and assisting residents with meals
Helping residents to move around
Toileting
Making beds
Talking to patients and making them comfortable
Monitoring residents’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight
To ensure a culture of team working is maintained to ensure best practice
To develop good relationships with relatives, friends and visitors to ensure effective communication
To ensure core values are upheld at all times
To have a working knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures
To have full commitment to the Mission Statement
To undertake training/instruction as required to maintain best practice

Requirements:

Caring and kind
Cheerful and friendly
Willing to be hands-on with patients
Willing to do personal care tasks (washing, toileting, etc)
Able to follow instructions and procedures
Able to work in a team but use their own initiative
Communication skills, including listening
Organisation skills
Observational skills
