Job Description

Join the team at Ty Grosvenor in Wrexham as a Healthcare Assistant. You will work in a supportive and friendly team in a culture built on kindness and teamwork, providing care for men with personality disorders and mental illness in an established and well-run service. The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide care to men with personality disorders and mental illness conditions
  • Help people along their recover pathway

  • Analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly

  • Support basic clinical procedures, including wound care setup, assisting with catheter care, pressure area prevention, and mobility aids
  • Prepare and maintain clinical areas, including trolleys, beds, and equipment in readiness for patient use
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, therapists, and admin teams to support safe and efficient patient care
