Summary about role : The role of the Healthcare Affair and Market Access Manager will develop and execute of Health Economics and Market Access strategy to support reimbursement and executes value communications initiatives of healthcare affair for business plans and products.

Job Responsibility

  • Creating and executing comprehensive market access strategies through the integration of pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review, and health economic modeling activities
  • Communicating the unique attributes of the therapeutic area drugs/medical devices to external multi-stakeholders to ensure the drug's/device's value proposition will be recognized and maximize market uptake
  • Working collectively with payers, including HTA, reimbursement influencers and other decision makers to ensure the continuous changing reimbursement systems remain fair to all involved parties
  • Developing strategic studies with the end-customer in mind to ensure that the results will favorably impact pricing, reimbursement and market access as well as market uptake
  • Engage with medical associations (TSN & TDCA) to strive for a better dialysis reimbursement growth and policies conducive to company dialysis product and to shape external issues
  • On behalf of the FME to engage with the associations (ECCT, AmCham and German Trade Office Taipei) and to foster the key Public Health/ Medical Device related topics can be well delivered to the government
  • Develop strategic product direction & create and execute product tactical plans aligned with strategy within specified time frames via the sales force and measure quantitatively and qualitatively
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns, analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed
  • Plan and execute the new product launches to strengthen the product portfolio, develop promotional materials and sales tools as well as conduct training sessions for sales teams.

Requirements

  • University or above degree in a relevant discipline
  • 7 years relevant work experience in Medical Device or Life Science Industry or Pharma
  • Market Access and reimbursement experience is a must
  • familiarity with marketing and a strong interest in new media and technology a plus
  • Analytical mind, sound judgment and proven organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to formulate and articulate clear messages about complex subjects
  • Self-motivated but also able to work well in our dynamic team
  • Good command of English
  • The position requires integrity, discretion and excellent communication and persuasive/ negotiating skills at all levels outside as well as within the organization.

Nice to have

familiarity with marketing and a strong interest in new media and technology a plus
