Job Responsibility

  • Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, clinical staff, and leadership
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
  • Handle patient intake, registration, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems)
  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone/email in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist with insurance verification, billing coordination, and referral processing
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and general office documentation
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably within healthcare or medical office settings
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth) is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
