Job Description:

Support the nutrition team in maintaining customer satisfaction and retaining meal plan members by following marketing strategies, nutrition, health, and wellness best practices provided for the academic year. The Student Worker- Peer-to-Peer must be a student at this Aramark location, University of North Carolina Wilmington. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Mentor students as they explore the field of nutrition and wellness and look forward to their next steps
  • Provide insight and experience within the scope of foodservice nutrition
  • Preface dietetic internship with opportunity to have dietetic related responsibility beyond class assignments and serve as an extension of a functional department
  • Wellness tabling/student engagement, including crafting content for tables and other wellness events
  • Secret Shopper style audit completion to gain student insight into allergen handling from a customer service and safety perspective
  • Assistance with National Menu Labeling compliance and related tasks
  • Aiding in allergen training for Front Line Associates
  • Be knowledgeable in the meal plan structure, monetary value, and overall benefits of eating on campus
  • Distribute marketing material and promotional items
  • Present information to customers and answer questions regarding dining services
  • Be a part of a sales team to host events during orientation, move-in weekend, and the first
