Job Description:

Lead strategic HTA initiatives and shape pricing strategies for a global pharmaceutical leader in Japan. You will play a pivotal role in minimizing price cuts for key products. You will conduct cost-effectiveness analyses (CEA), prepare strategic health technology assessment (HTA) materials, and negotiate with Japanese regulatory bodies. You will be a key contributor to pricing and market access strategies, influencing critical decisions and ensuring the successful launch of new products.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead strategic HTA initiatives and shape pricing strategies
  • Conduct rigorous CEAs according to established guidelines
  • Prepare compelling HTA materials for official CEE processes
  • Negotiate effectively with C2H/MHLW in the official CEE process
  • Provide strategic recommendations for pricing and market access strategies
  • Stay current on HTA systems and technical knowledge
  • Collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Science, Economics, or Pharmacy)
  • Proven experience conducting CEAs
  • Strong understanding of healthcare business, HTA, and pricing & reimbursement regulations in Japan
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Fluency in Japanese and business-level English
  • Experience negotiating with C2H (preferred)
  • Experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company (preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Real World Data analysis/Epidemiological research (preferred)
