Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Advisor

• Support the APAC HSSE Manager and ANZ teams to deliver HSSE plans, initiatives, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to incident management, reporting, investigations, and lessons learned
• Provide HSSE guidance and support to offices and project teams across WA and SA
• Assist with project HSSE planning, hazard assessments, audits, and site visits
• Support subcontractor HSSE management and contribute to ISO audit activities
• Promote Stantec's core values and uphold strong quality, safety, environmental, and security standards

• Relevant qualification (tertiary/TAFE) in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent)
• 3-5 years relevant work experience in a HSSE Advisor role
• Certified membership of a professional H&S institution such as Australia Institute of Health & Safety or similar (individuals able to obtain certification also considered)
• Knowledge of Australia's Workplace/Occupational Health & Safety legislation and approach
• Root Cause Investigation qualification and/or relevant experience
• Experience in conducting audits and execution reviews against standards
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and support HSSE requirements across diverse teams
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work within defined procedures with limited supervision
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal and organisation abilities, coupled with an ability to work in a team environment
• Strong leadership skills and the capability to assess priorities and work independently
• Strong client-service focus with a can-do attitude
• Have full Australian Working rights

Certified membership of a professional H&S institution such as Australia Institute of Health & Safety or similar (individuals able to obtain certification also considered)
