Health & Safety Manager

A leading Demolition contractor are looking for you to become their Health & Safety Manager, based on multiple sites nationwide. Due to the nature of the project and risk portfolio, you must have demonstrable experience in Demolition, Construction or a related sector. Reporting directly to the Head of HSEQ, you will be responsible for all aspects of health and safety in this company and on site. You will also be: • Liaising with project managers and ultimately influence the safety culture across the site • Writing risk assessments and method statements • Controlling associated demolition hazards, such as dust, vibration and noise control. • Performing site inspections and audits • Driving the Health & Safety agenda with site and project teams. To apply for this role, you will need to be an experienced Health & Safety professional with relevant construction experience, managing risk on high-hazard sites. You will have worked with a major demolition and civils contractor in a similar role. You will also be: • NEBOSH/NCRQ-qualified (ESSENTIAL) • IT literate and able to write reports • Able to deliver in-house training where applicable • A strong character with the ability to build relationships • Experienced in Demolition or Construction (ESSENTIAL). You will earn a salary of between £55-65,000 plus vehicle and will be joining them at a time of considerable and sustained growth. Due to the geography of the projects you must be willing to travel.
