Job Description:

They are responsible for the implementation of the “Construction, Fit Out and Ops” H&S programs locally in relation with all relevant stakeholders, in particular with the “Construction, Fit Out and OPS” teams, to develop a real H&S culture, to meet the group H&S objectives in compliance with all applicable regulations and within the framework of a continuous improvement process. They work closely with the other H&S Managers in different countries where Data4 operates to develop a common H&S culture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implement and manage locally the Datat4 H&S policy and program including processes, procedures, meetings, reports, KPIS, communication, best practices, etc.
  • Implement and manage the relevant local H&S organization by involving and coordinating all the stakeholders: Data4 employees, in particular “Construction, Fit Out and OPS” teams, H&S third party, contractors, etc.
  • Define the missions of the “Construction and Fit Out” H&S third parties in relation with the “Construction & Fit Out” teams which manage the related budget then supervise and control its proper execution
  • As the main point of contact for H&S matters to meet customer expectations in accordance with Data4’s H&S policy
  • Report to the H&S Manager Group on the implementation of the H&S policy and program then alert him, if necessary, to any difficulties encountered in order to define together the solutions to be implemented
  • Lead the implementation of the H&S awareness actions
  • Ensure the completion of risk analyses related to High-Risk Activities (HRA) and the integration of related preventive measures in all the relevant documents: MOPs, etc. by all stakeholders
  • Carry out H&S audits on the field
  • Assign green/yellow/red cards if necessary
  • Lead the formalization and implementation of all H&S action plans
  • Carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for work-related accidents, near misses, etc.
  • Formalize H&S procedures, instructions, posters, etc.
  • Lead the execution of evacuation drills
  • Participate in H&S regulatory monitoring, ensure compliance with all H&S regulatory requirements and act as the main point of contact for all administrative agencies regarding H&S
  • Participate in the proper maintenance and deployment of the IMS in all countries where the group operates about the ISO 45001 standard
  • Manage the H&S reports and KPIs (creation, maintenance, etc.)
  • Manage the H&S database to ensure the proper organization, availability, relevance and completeness of all necessary H&S documents
  • Propose to the HR Department H&S trainings for Data4 employees
  • Manage PPE for Data4 employees
  • Participate in construction and review of the annual H&S budget then follow up its implementation
  • Participate in the definition of OPEX and CAPEX necessary for the implementation of H&S action plans
  • Respect and enforce health and safety rules
  • Respect and enforce environmental policies
  • Respect and enforce information security policies
  • Respect and enforce the policy of reducing energy consumption

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years’ experience in managing an H&S approach on a site where various technical activities related to the management of industrial buildings with coactivity between several companies take place, ideally in the data center industry
  • Engineer profile or equivalent Bac + 5
  • H&S training
  • Ability to identify, understand and implement the mandatory requirements and the recommendations of external organizations regarding H&S
  • Knowledge and practice of H&S audits
  • Knowledge and practice of analysis and continuous improvement tools: FMEA, 5M, cause trees, PDCA, etc.
  • Knowledge and practice of the ISO 45001 standard
  • Supervision of service providers
  • English is a must
