Job Responsibility

  • Deliver key Health, Safety, and Wellbeing priorities aligned with corporate goals while maintaining strict compliance with national and international laws, engineering practices, and data protection guidelines
  • Standardise risk management across operations and conduct regular supplier and workplace audits to maintain safety standards
  • Lead thorough investigations into accidents to determine root causes and implement effective preventive measures
  • Promote workplace health by managing employee welfare, arranging ergonomic workstations, and driving impactful wellbeing communications
  • Design and deliver comprehensive HSW training programs for employees and suppliers, ensuring new staff receive proper health and safety guidance from day one
  • Manage KPI reporting, maintain supplier scorecards, and support the continuous development of ISO and international standards
  • Champion a robust safety culture across all levels while collaborating closely with internal teams like Operations, Construction, Legal, and HR, as well as external partners

Requirements

  • Proven training in occupational safety or a university degree in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated experience with audits
  • Extensive experience in a similar Health & Safety role, with a strong background ideally built within the telecommunications or infrastructure industry
  • Deep understanding of HSW principles, regulations, and best practices, combined with practical experience working with ISO norms (such as 45001) and other international standards
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, complemented by a pragmatic, hands-on mindset and a collaborative approach to handling compliance and governance
  • Fluent in English, demonstrating professional proficiency at a C1 level
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to local markets to conduct audits, deliver training, and collaborate with teams
