Job Responsibility
Deliver key Health, Safety, and Wellbeing priorities aligned with corporate goals while maintaining strict compliance with national and international laws, engineering practices, and data protection guidelines
Standardise risk management across operations and conduct regular supplier and workplace audits to maintain safety standards
Lead thorough investigations into accidents to determine root causes and implement effective preventive measures
Promote workplace health by managing employee welfare, arranging ergonomic workstations, and driving impactful wellbeing communications
Design and deliver comprehensive HSW training programs for employees and suppliers, ensuring new staff receive proper health and safety guidance from day one
Manage KPI reporting, maintain supplier scorecards, and support the continuous development of ISO and international standards
Champion a robust safety culture across all levels while collaborating closely with internal teams like Operations, Construction, Legal, and HR, as well as external partners
Requirements
Proven training in occupational safety or a university degree in a relevant discipline
Demonstrated experience with audits
Extensive experience in a similar Health & Safety role, with a strong background ideally built within the telecommunications or infrastructure industry
Deep understanding of HSW principles, regulations, and best practices, combined with practical experience working with ISO norms (such as 45001) and other international standards
Excellent organisational and communication skills, complemented by a pragmatic, hands-on mindset and a collaborative approach to handling compliance and governance
Fluent in English, demonstrating professional proficiency at a C1 level
Willingness to travel occasionally to local markets to conduct audits, deliver training, and collaborate with teams
