We are looking for a Health & Safety Cluster Manager (all genders) who will manage Health & Safety areas in the logistic warehouses in Poland. Location of the role - Bydgoszcz
Job Responsibility
Managing both internal and external safety audits
You will manage H&S aspects of the site in cooperation with an external company
Monitoring occupational health and safety conditions and conducting occupational health and safety inspections at regional plants
Participating in the development of occupational health and safety strategies
Overseeing/implementing occupational health and safety projects
Creating monthly and annual occupational health and safety reports for plants in the region, preparing departmental budgets
Organizing the work of subordinate employees, conducting periodic employee assessments, establishing annual goals and development plans with subordinate employees
Issuing opinions on procedures, instructions, documents, scopes of activities, and standards within the scope of their responsibilities
Participating in the preparation of periodic analyses of occupational health and safety and fire protection
Cooperating with the social labor inspection and company trade unions on occupational health and safety and fire protection
Coordinating the behavioral safety program within the organization
Initiating and overseeing the implementation of best safety practices
Requirements
A university degree or postgraduate degree in an occupational health and safety-related field
a technical degree is a plus
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry in an independent position responsible for all occupational health and safety activities
Excellent knowledge of occupational health and safety and fire protection regulations and the ability to interpret them
Knowledge and ability to apply root cause analysis (RCA) methodology
English language skills at a minimum level of B2 and fluent in Polish
Good computer skills, particularly Google
Valid category B driving license
