The Health & Safety and Facilities Advisor role is an exciting and vital position within our Operations team, based at our London warehouse. You will play a key role in supporting the team’s understanding of their health and safety responsibilities, while also providing oversight of basic environmental considerations. In addition, you will take ownership of the physical workspace, managing facilities to ensure the warehouse remains a well maintained, compliant and efficient environment for the team to operate in.
Job Responsibility:
Embed a strong safety culture
Champion a ‘safety first’ mindset
Design and deliver engaging workshops and coaching
Provide clear guidance on risk management
Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive repairs
Manage on-site contractors and service providers
Conduct rigorous site audits and facilities walkthroughs
Develop and evolve practical H&S and Facilities policies
Act as subject matter expert on specialist infrastructure challenges
Drive data-informed decision-making by producing dashboards and metrics
