Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment Coordinator to oversee and champion Environmental compliance within our organization. This role requires a proactive leader who can implement and monitor initiatives to ensure adherence to regulations while fostering a culture of safety. Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure Environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Conduct regular Environmental audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
  • Coordinate training programs to educate employees on safety standards and environmental practices
  • Monitor workplace conditions and address any hazards or non-compliance issues promptly
  • Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship
  • Prepare detailed reports on safety performance and environmental compliance for review by leadership
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement
  • Manage safety-related documentation and maintain accurate records of inspections and incidents
  • Assist in the development of emergency response plans and coordinate drills to ensure readiness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in plant supervisory roles, preferably within large organizations
  • Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver and other relevant systems
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports effectively
  • Proven track record in managing workplace safety and implementing successful initiatives
  • Familiarity with emergency response planning and risk assessment processes
