We are looking for a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment Coordinator to oversee and champion Environmental compliance within our organization. This role requires a proactive leader who can implement and monitor initiatives to ensure adherence to regulations while fostering a culture of safety. Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure Environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Conduct regular Environmental audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
Coordinate training programs to educate employees on safety standards and environmental practices
Monitor workplace conditions and address any hazards or non-compliance issues promptly
Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship
Prepare detailed reports on safety performance and environmental compliance for review by leadership
Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement
Manage safety-related documentation and maintain accurate records of inspections and incidents
Assist in the development of emergency response plans and coordinate drills to ensure readiness
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in plant supervisory roles, preferably within large organizations
Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver and other relevant systems
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to analyze data and generate reports effectively
Proven track record in managing workplace safety and implementing successful initiatives
Familiarity with emergency response planning and risk assessment processes
