As a Claims Specialist, you'll manage Life, Critical Illness, and/or Disability claims, making key decisions and providing excellent customer support through our HALO claims service, ensuring compliance with industry standards and UK regulations while managing and enhancing our customers' experience addressing each case with precision and empathy. Job Responsibility

  • Managing a portfolio of Life, Critical Illness, and/or disability related claims in line with Industry guidelines, UK legislation, and best practice claims management techniques
  • Listening to our customers and helping to support them through our HALO claims service
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Supporting the growth and development of our disability claims management proposition

Requirements

  • Experience managing all aspects of Life, Critical Illness, and/or disability related claims within an agreed claims authority
  • A detailed knowledge of the UK protection insurance market and regulatory environment
  • Great customer service skills with a passion and desire to achieve the best outcome for the customer
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong planning and organisational skills

Nice to have

A CII claims qualification, or similar, is desirable but not essential
