Our client is seeking a Health Information Systems Business Analyst to support reporting and data analysis across multiple departments, with a primary focus on operations and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior or entry-level candidate with strong SQL skills and an interest in healthcare, public safety, or operational reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain reports used by operations, leadership, marketing, and other departments
Partner with field operations and dispatch teams to analyze and validate data
Support 911 compliance reporting, including identifying and resolving time discrepancies between crew documentation and dispatch records
Perform data validation and correction as needed to ensure accurate reporting
Create ad-hoc reports based on department needs
Review existing reports to determine what is useful, needed, or can be improved
Occasionally work with one-off Excel files, though most data comes directly from a SQL database
Requirements:
Working knowledge of SQL (primary requirement)
Experience with or exposure to Power BI or Tableau
Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate data discrepancies
Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
Entry-level candidates are welcome
Related degree is a plus but not required
Background check and drug screen required
Nice to have:
Experience with healthcare, EMS, or public-sector data (not required)
Familiarity with compliance or operational reporting environments
