Job Overview:As a SCD educator (Sickle Cell Disease Educator) your key role is to provide tailored counseling to individuals with SCD and at the designated center. This includes educating them and their families or caregivers on SCD management, Future precautions in family planning , insulin/medicine/drug related education, treatment options, lifestyle adjustments, and diet plan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, nutrition)
  • Preferred experience in rare diseases counseling or worked with health professionals
  • Strong preference for certification as a health educator (CDE)
  • 1-2 years of education or counselling experience, ideally in pharmaceutical or healthcare setting
  • In-depth knowledge of rare diseases management and treatment options
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and any other regional languages
  • Proficiency in MS Office
