Position: Health Director. Location: Middleborough Town Hall Annex, 20 Centre Street, Middleborough, MA. Status: Full-time. Hours: 40 hours per week. Wages: Grade A, Step 1, $44.1409 to Grade A, Step 15 $66.7671 per hour in accordance with the General Municipal Employee Group (GMEG) contract (in 15 annual steps). GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Health Director is responsible for managing the Department and enforces the rules, regulations, and policies of the Board of Health, along with providing administrative and technical duties in accordance with said policies. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree public health or related field, and three to five years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience. Certified Food Protection Manager, Certified pool operator, Soil Evaluator, Housing Specialist, CPR and Systems Inspector Certificate required.
