Job Description:

The Health Club Manager at The Westin Yichang is responsible for creating recreational activity agendas, managing recreational supplies and equipment, ensuring guest safety, overseeing recreation programs, and supervising employees. They will uphold the company's values of equity and inclusion while promoting a positive and engaging work atmosphere. The role includes acting as a trainer and role model for team members and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

Create recreational activity agendas and advertisements using publishing software
Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment
Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities
Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities
Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility
Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in emergencies
Provide assistance to injured guests
Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies
Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
Complete safety training and certifications
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Maintain positive working relationships.

Requirements:

Create recreational activity agendas and advertisements using publishing software
Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment
Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities
Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility
Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in cases of emergencies
Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services
Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Recreation and Fitness Equipment
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.

Nice to have:

At least 1 year of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
