This is a rewarding full-time Study Programme Tutor role, delivering high-quality, practical learning to post-16 learners studying Health and Social Care and Childcare qualifications, from Entry Level to Level 2.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver Health & Social Care and Childcare teaching and assessment
Teach Entry Level to Level 2 qualifications
Support learners’ employability, social skills, and personal development
Support delivery of English and Maths (with specialist support)
Track learner progress and maintain accurate records
Provide pastoral and tutorial support
Embed ICT and digital learning tools
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment
Manage learners’ journeys from initial interview and assessment through to successful completion and accreditation
Requirements:
PGCE, Cert Ed, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or Childcare
Relevant industry experience working with children and/or adults in care settings
Passionate about teaching, training, and learner success
Work confidently both independently and as part of a team
Organised, proactive, and able to meet deadlines
Motivated to support young people to achieve positive life outcomes
