Job Description

We are looking for Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £31,410 to £43,400 per annum.

Job Responsibility

  • Carry out formal scheduled teaching on programmes ranging from level 1 to 5
  • Undertake a personal tutor and/or programme leader role to groups of students in order to maintain high achievement rates
  • Prepare delivery plans, sequenced learning plans and learning materials
  • Mark students’ work and carry out internal quality assurance
  • Work as part of the team in the monitoring, reviewing and evaluation of all aspects of the programmes

Requirements

  • Level 2 or above English/literacy qualifications
  • Level 2 or above Maths/numeracy qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Health or a related area
  • Recognised full teaching qualification
  • Have experience of working within health or care
  • Able to evidence successful FE teaching/sixth form experience of teaching, training or assessing groups of students on Health courses
