Job Description:

We are seeking Health & Safety Specialists for upcoming opportunities in Halton Region! These opportunities will be for a safety professional who enjoys variety—you will be driving a proactive safety culture within an organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of H&S programs within organizations
  • Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and auditing where required
  • Lead thorough investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Analyze trends and report on performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Deliver engaging safety training to both frontline employees and leadership
  • Facilitate Joint Health & Safety Committees (JHSC) and partner with management to mitigate risks

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in H&S roles
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in OHS or a related field
  • Deep understanding of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and MOL regulations
  • Open to applicants with experience across industries
