Job Description

Health and Safety Specialist based in Chicago to join Fever's global Health and Safety team, responsible for overseeing and improving safety across US operations from immersive exhibitions to large-scale live experiences, ensuring smooth operations and full compliance with local regulations.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the development, improvement, and oversight of Health & Safety program and standards for Fever US
  • Provide H&S leadership at the project level by conducting risk assessments and safety inspections
  • Collaborate with producers, project managers, and venue operators to identify and mitigate hazards
  • Ensure Fever events comply with OSHA, ADA, and all applicable local/state regulations
  • Support internal teams and external vendors with training, safety briefings, and emergency protocols
  • Investigate and report incidents and near misses
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance records

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in health & safety, production safety, or occupational safety — preferably in live events or experiential activations
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA standards and Illinois/Chicago-specific regulations
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Comfortable being on-site during irregular hours and traveling to event locations in the region
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or similar are a strong plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and proactively report progress, challenges, and solutions to leadership

  • Participate in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, recordkeeping, and follow-up including implementation of effective corrective actions, and prepare communications to share the lessons-learned from such events across account operations.
  • Ensure that appropriate site and business specific programs are implemented, documented and standardized to effectively and efficiently meet KRI’s/SLAs and legal requirements.
