Health and Safety Manager

• Promote and deliver the group H&S policies to the Feed Mills
• Ensure alignment with the group H&S strategy
• Ensure compliance with all relevant H&S legislation, and industry-specific regulations
• Identify workplace hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for all operations
• Lead accident investigations, root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to H&S, including incident rates, near misses and compliance audit results
• Generate monthly and annual reports to assess safety performance and identify areas for improvement
• Conduct regular H&S Audits across sites
• Responsible for managing the H&S budget
• Align all sites to meet ISO 45001 management systems certification
• Implement group-based systems and procedures across all sites
• Coordinate and chair H&S committee meetings

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• NEBOSH/NVQ Level 3 or higher in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience in ISO45001
• Experience conducting risk assessments and accident investigations

Experience within Agriculture/Milling is beneficial, however not essential
