Job Description:

Health & Safety Manager – Construction (Full Time). Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional looking for a role where you can truly shape standards, influence culture and make a lasting impact? If so, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Our client is a rapidly expanding, £10m multi-disciplinary construction business with sites across the North West and Yorkshire. With further locations planned over the next five years, they are looking for a capable and proactive Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of the function and drive high standards across the group.

Job Responsibility:

Leading the development and delivery of the company’s Health & Safety strategy across all operational sites
Acting as the day-to-day subject matter expert for all H&S matters
Implementing, maintaining and improving HSEQ management systems
Coaching, guiding and influencing teams to embed a positive safety culture
Driving continuous improvement and proactively identifying areas of enhancement
Overseeing insurance claims and third-party relationships
Creating and developing policies, standards and training
Ensuring compliance with ISO, COSHH, LOLER and wider regulatory requirements

Requirements:

NEBOSH qualification desirable but not essential if you have strong hands-on experience
Passionate about influencing behaviour and promoting a safety-first mindset
Confident engaging employees at all levels
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Able to manage multiple priorities across various sites
Someone who enjoys autonomy and wants to take ownership of HSEQ
