As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team and help us to build upon and continue to develop our strong safety culture.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with UK regulations
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and address potential hazards and risks in the workplace
Provide safety training and educational programs to employees at all levels, ensuring a strong safety culture across the organisation
Investigate and document workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and develop action plans to prevent recurrence
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote safety awareness and facilitate a proactive approach to safety
Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices and ensure company-wide compliance
Manage safety-related documentation and reporting, including maintaining records, incident reports, and safety statistics
Requirements:
Experienced
Formal qualifications relating to Health and Safety including Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH
Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs and policies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficient in using safety management software and tools
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
