Health & Safety Manager – Construction (Part-Time / Flexible). Our client is a rapidly expanding, £10m multi-disciplinary construction business with sites across the North West and Yorkshire. As they continue to grow, they’re confident that a highly capable H&S Manager can deliver impact on a part-time basis — and they’re committed to making the role work around you.
Job Responsibility:
Leading the development and delivery of the company’s Health & Safety strategy across all sites
Acting as the day-to-day expert for all H&S matters
Maintaining and improving HSEQ management systems
Providing guidance, coaching and support to operational teams
Driving continuous improvement across multiple locations
Overseeing insurance claims and managing third-party relationships
Developing policies, standards and training to embed best practice
Ensuring compliance with ISO, COSHH, LOLER and other regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Passionate about influencing people and encouraging positive safety behaviours
Confident engaging teams at all levels
Highly organised with great attention to detail
Able to manage competing priorities across several sites
Someone who enjoys autonomy and wants to shape HSEQ across a growing business
NEBOSH qualification is desirable but not essential if you have strong practical experience
